Dear Co-Laborers
Greetings from Mexico. The weather here has been almost perfect. We have had a lot of rain but after 3 years of drought here in Aguas, it has been very nice.
In the last month Tim has been able to speak in 2 churches; Truth Baptist Church in Margaritas and the Independent Fundamental Baptist in Aguascalientes. This next Sunday I will be speaking at the Trinity Baptist Church in Puertocito de la Virgen in the county of San Francisco de los Romo, our county.
We have been able to make contact with some new prospects for evangelization as well as some that we have already talked to . Please pray that their interest will blossom. Also, my neighbors here on our street are a real burden to us. We desire to see them saved and have grown to care about them deeply.
As we think back over the years we seem to have many important dates that are precious to us. August 6 we celebrated 35 years of coming to Mexico. We are very grateful to our Father and to you all who have been a part of this ministry and our lives. On September 21 we will celebrate 50 years from our first date at a very young age. March 19 of next year we celebrate 50 years of marriage. We hope to celebrate it with the kids and grandkids and possibly, sometime in the year with a trip to somewhere we have not been.
We have sold the house in Alabama after Teresia’s mom passed to her brother. In a few weeks we need to return to Alabama to sign the papers. We are trying to change our residency to Texas, so that in the case of a medical emergency, we can get to a doctor more quickly.
There is much going on with us and TNTI and we ask your prayers for wisdom and protection. We are trying to fly a little more as the road seems to get longer and longer.
Teresia and I are committed to accomplishing all that God has for us. We seek His wisdom daily, His will, and ask for the courage and health to finish the job He has given us to do. Pray with us.
