Dear Friends and Co-Laborers

Psalm 71: 18 Now also when I am old and greyheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to everyone that is to come.

This has become a new commitment to my Lord and Savior. I went to the nuclear stress test yesterday and my cardiologist called me as soon as she got the results. I am out of heart failure! Praise the Lord! I have an appointment with her on the 19th. She will then go over how often I need to have this particular test again. I will keep taking the medicine that I am on and more than likely come back every year for a repeat. Thank you all for praying.

Teresia’s mom passed away on Sunday the 2nd of March. She was known to many, and her testimony was strong and faithful. She had been a nurse’s aide, school bus driver, children’s church worker, sign-language interpreter in church, foster parent, caregiver, and, of course, a Mom and Grandma. I used the verse at the top of this letter to encourage those who knew her to make sure that her Lord was taken to everyone that is to come.

I have mentioned before that we have a need of some new support. Many have asked what that would look like in numbers. We are at about 63% of our support level. We have blessed by God, and we are not complaining. However, medicines have risen in costs and so have everything else. Medicine in Mexico must be purchased (no insurance) as well as any care we need. I believe that with a $400 to $500 dollar increase per month will give us the resources we need as we continue God’s work. Please pray with us about this need. We have increased already by two churches while here on furlough. PTL! With this four to five hundred more we will continue to expand.

Evangelist Ben Everson (son-in-law) is now the stateside representative for TNTI Ministries. He has been involved since he came into the family, and we are excited to welcome him in a more official capacity. Jodi Hendricks (daughter-in-law) is also helping with The Least of These; a helps ministry branch of TNTI. She with Teresia will be coordinating in the future. Jodi is the head Director of New Mexico Family. Alisha Link(daughter) is our secretary and has done a fantastic job for many years now.

Teresia and I celebrate our 49th anniversary on March 19th. What a privilege it has been to have her serve alongside of me for God’s glory. I am blessed! At the end of the month, we will be flying back to Mexico. Pray, please, for traveling mercies and that God would continue to open doors for us here, in Mexico, and in all of Latin America.
Thank you all for your continued support and prayers. Our new website is tnti.org. A picture of our new prayer card is there and a video of some of the work that we have been involved with.

The Work Continues https://tnti.org/the-work-continues/ Wed, 01 Jan 2025 18:23:02 +0000 https://tnti.org/?p=214 Dear Friends and Prayer Partners

What a year this has been for us.  I reported in September that I have been going through some real health problems and have seen some good reports.  2024 was to be our year of furlough.  We have been able to be in many of our supporting churches, but not all.  If any of you would like us to be with you, we would be glad to schedule with you.
My heart is continually improving, and the meds seem to be doing their job.  We have been able to make a couple of trips into Mexico to check on the ministries there and our home.  I am to have another nuclear stress test to check the function of my heart soon.  I do not have a date yet but am just waiting on the prescribed time frame so that insurance will cover the cost.
2023 Teresia had some health problems but now seems to be doing great.  We thank the Lord for His love and watch-care over us.

I know that Christmas has just passed and that a new year is on the horizon.  I trust that you all had a very joyous and happy time with family and friends.  We spent Christmas here in AL with Teresia’s mom and family.  Ashley also lives here, and we were with her and her family on Christmas morning.   All the family, our children and grandchildren, are doing well.  We have been able to spend time with each one this year.  What a blessing!

The churches in Mexico seem to be doing well.  However, a young pastor and his family are experiencing some major difficulties.  Benjamin and Liseth have 5 little girls.  The fourth, Eleana, has been diagnosed with a cancerous tumor on her left lung.  Eleana in two years old.  Please be in prayer for this little girl and her family.
Right now, Merritt is living in Mexico with his family.  The rest are living in places all across the USA.
I, Tim, am still working on the writing of the lessons that I have taught in Bible Institutes and UCLA (The Christian University) in Monterrey, MX.  Right now, I am working on the Pastoral Epistles.  I also have started lessons on Church Planting.  There is another project that I am working on while here in the states.  Please pray for me that I might be able to express Biblical truths in such a way that they can be learned and used.
The doctor wants my heart function to be up to 36%.  With the next stress test we are praying that this would be accomplished.  With that we will return to Mexico and get a Cardiologist there as well.  My doctor here has told me that she will accept the lab work from there in Mexico so that I can send labs back to her in set intervals.

PRAYER REQUEST Our support has taken hits lately, within the last two years.  With new expenses and the change in co-pay and deductibles, we are needing to raise our support.  God has provided and we are not behind, but we need to do the preparation needed in order to “prepare the horse for the battle” while still fully confident that safety (and provision) are from the Lord.  We know that He knows that we have need of these things.  Please help us to make our request to the Lord with thanksgiving for His faithfulness and love to us.

Tim and Teresia
