Dear Friends and Co-Laborers
Psalm 71: 18 Now also when I am old and greyheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to everyone that is to come.
This has become a new commitment to my Lord and Savior. I went to the nuclear stress test yesterday and my cardiologist called me as soon as she got the results. I am out of heart failure! Praise the Lord! I have an appointment with her on the 19th. She will then go over how often I need to have this particular test again. I will keep taking the medicine that I am on and more than likely come back every year for a repeat. Thank you all for praying.
Teresia’s mom passed away on Sunday the 2nd of March. She was known to many, and her testimony was strong and faithful. She had been a nurse’s aide, school bus driver, children’s church worker, sign-language interpreter in church, foster parent, caregiver, and, of course, a Mom and Grandma. I used the verse at the top of this letter to encourage those who knew her to make sure that her Lord was taken to everyone that is to come.
I have mentioned before that we have a need of some new support. Many have asked what that would look like in numbers. We are at about 63% of our support level. We have blessed by God, and we are not complaining. However, medicines have risen in costs and so have everything else. Medicine in Mexico must be purchased (no insurance) as well as any care we need. I believe that with a $400 to $500 dollar increase per month will give us the resources we need as we continue God’s work. Please pray with us about this need. We have increased already by two churches while here on furlough. PTL! With this four to five hundred more we will continue to expand.
Evangelist Ben Everson (son-in-law) is now the stateside representative for TNTI Ministries. He has been involved since he came into the family, and we are excited to welcome him in a more official capacity. Jodi Hendricks (daughter-in-law) is also helping with The Least of These; a helps ministry branch of TNTI. She with Teresia will be coordinating in the future. Jodi is the head Director of New Mexico Family. Alisha Link(daughter) is our secretary and has done a fantastic job for many years now.
Teresia and I celebrate our 49th anniversary on March 19th. What a privilege it has been to have her serve alongside of me for God’s glory. I am blessed! At the end of the month, we will be flying back to Mexico. Pray, please, for traveling mercies and that God would continue to open doors for us here, in Mexico, and in all of Latin America.
Thank you all for your continued support and prayers. Our new website is tnti.org. A picture of our new prayer card is there and a video of some of the work that we have been involved with.
